Introduction

I am a bioinformatician/ data scientist with a background in Biology. I was formally trained as an experimental scientist, got my BSc. and MSc. degrees in Molecular Biology. My PhD research was in the area of Computational Biomedicine, at the intersection of Biology, Medicine, Mathematics and Computer Science. Particularly, I am interested in leveraging machine learning and statistical approaches to understand diseases and discover biomarkers that benefit patients and further advancing precision medicine.
